Worship
Our worship style is a mixture of traditional and contemporary. We believe that worship is not a human invention; rather, it is a divine offering. God offers himself in a personal relationship, and we respond with our worship.
Grace Evangelical Church believes that praise and worship are an active and integral link between God and His people. We seek, thank, praise, and serve Him in a spirit of excellence through music and lead others into the very presence of God so that as one unified body we glorify God.
Since music plays such an important part in our worship, there are many opportunities available for those willing to share their musical talents, as described below:
Worship Teams
Our Worship teams are comprised of gifted musicians and singers who have a passion to bring glory and honor to their heavenly Father through their musical talents. These teams minister in our services on a regular and rotating basis, holding regular rehearsals during the week.
Special Music
Special music allows those whom God has gifted musically an opportunity to bless and encourage the body of Christ in our worship services and other special events.
Sound Reinforcement
This vital ministry is responsible for sound systems and operations. In addition to our regular services, many church-related activities, both onsite and offsite, require this type of technical support.
Media Ministries
Another vital ministry, these teams run cameras, projectors, video, PowerPoint, Media Shout, and DVD's for all services. Contact Pastor Ken Maxey if you have the technical flare.
