Upcoming Events
September 14th – Our regular potluck is going on the road. We’ll be Meeting at Krug Park for a picnic, the southwest shelter house at the top of the hill to be specific. We’ll start at 6:00, and we’ll provide hot dogs and hamburgers. So bring your lawn chairs a side dish to share and expect a great time of food and fellowship. Please sign up at the information desk for this one so we can make sure we have enough burgers and dogs.
September 18th – We’ll be heading down to the Gospel Music Heritage in Edgerton, MO. The group is the Freedom Gospel Group from Belton, Mo. The church van will be leaving at 4:45. We’ll stop at Harmer’s for dinner on the way. Sign-up at the Information Desk. A collection will be taken up at the church, and for gas, and it’s everyone for themselves for dinner. Come and enjoy some wonderful gospel music.
September 12th – We should be back to our normal monthly potluck in the library and our 5:30 meeting time.

December 3rd – I know it’s a little early, but we have to sign up in advance for this. The Gaither’s will be presenting Gaither Homecoming Christmas 2010 at the “Independence Events Center,” Independence, MO. Tickets are $55 per person. Cost includes: ticket, transportation on Heartland Bus, and driver’s tip. The bus leaves the church at 5pm. We have to sign up and get the money to Pastor Dennis in advance to hold our spots.
