WOMEN’S HEALTH BRUNCH AT GRACE
This Saturday, May 17th, at 9:30am: Women’s Health Brunch with Guest Speaker: Dr. Maureen Boyle, from Heartland Women’s Health. Dr. Boyle will be speaking about women’s health issues and concerns. Please sign up by Wednesday at the information desk or call the church office if you plan to attend. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted for the brunch.
BAPTISM SERVICE
If you are a new Christian, or one who has never testified of your faith in Jesus by being water baptized, you are encouraged to do so. Our next baptism service is scheduled for Sunday evening, June 1st. Write BAPTISM by your name and phone number on the registration and plan to attend the meeting at 6:30pm on Wednesday, May 21st in Pastor Darrell’s office.
NOYES HOME BENEFIT GOLF TOURNAMENT
This year’s Fore the Lord Golf Tournament to benefit the Noyes Home for Children will be held at Fairview Golf Course on Friday, June 6th. GRACE GOLFERS PLEASE NOTE: The sessions are beginning to fill up. Pick up a form at the information booth and turn it in to the office along with your money as soon as possible. We are looking for donations of water and pop, as well as donations for hole prizes. If you can donate any of these items, or would like to help with the tournament, please contact Jeanette in the church office at 279-2090 or attend the meeting, Friday, May 16, at 5:00pm in room 206. (You can leave pop or water in the lower foyer area.)
MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC
Our annual Memorial Day picnic will be held Sunday evening, May 25th. Beginning at 4:00pm, we will gather at the home of Rick & Carrie Lipira, 3205 Bishop Rd. There will be fishing, (bring your poles & equipment). We will eat around 5:00pm. The meal will be a covered-dish carry-in. Families bring 2 covered dishes, singles bring one. Drink & tableware will be provided. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and yard games. Please write PICNIC on the registration pad or sign up online and let us know how many are coming if you plan to attend. Everyone is welcome!
BIKER SUNDAY
Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Ministries will hold its 12th annual Biker Sunday at Grace on June 1st. Bikers from across the area will be invited to join our 10:45am service. This year, a People’s Choice Bike Show will be held with prizes going to the top 3 bikes. The congregation is encouraged to stay for lunch and fellowship with the bikers. Tribe of Judah will provide the meat for the meal, but the congregation is asked to help in one of several ways. You may help by donating food or volunteering for set up, clean up or serving food. A sign up sheet is available at the information booth or sign up sheets will be passed around in the adult Sunday School classes. Please pray for bikers to come and receive God’s Word.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH NEED
Children's church is in need of an adult karate outfit (any color belt) and an adult safari (zoologist) outfit. If you would be willing to donate either of these outfits, please drop them off in the office in a bag and label it Children's Church. If you have any questions, please see Daniel Blakely or Dyann Duncan.
FOCUS4 ANNOUNCEMENTS
◊ 5/14 (6:30-8:00pm): We will continue our “Taming a liger” Bible study tonight. All 5th-8th graders and friends are welcome to join us.
◊ SUMMER CAMP @ Super “C” – Forms are at the info desk or table outside the youth room. For fall 7th-9th graders, camp will be June 16-21 and total cost is now $90. For fall 5th-6th graders, camp will be June 30-July 3 and total cost is now $70. Forms with $35 deposit can be put in the offering. Please memo check with camper’s name & grade. See Pastor Ken for any questions.

UPCOMING MISSION TRIP
A Work & Witness Mission Trip to La Esperanza, Honduras is scheduled for Sept. 29—Oct.10, 2008. We will be working with Grace Missionaries, Bob & Kathy Owen. (No construction experience is necessary). The estimated cost of the trip is $1,500.00. Please sign up at the information desk if you would like to join us. DAILY DEVOTIONAL
We are providing for you an opportunity to receive a free email daily devotional. To sign up, you must go to the Grace website www.graceontheweb.org and choose the devotional option on the home page. The daily devotional by Pastor Greg Laurie will be sent out Monday -Friday.
MIDWEEK MEAL
A midweek meal will be served this Wednesday, May 14th, from 5:15-6:15pm. The main menu is Fried Chicken, Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Please indicate on the registration pad how many will be eating or call the church office by noon Wednesday.
